It is however very exciting when your baby is interested in solid foods. It is a good idea to introduce finger foods by making tiny,  bite-sized portions that they can eat by themselves. Here are some ideas you may like to try:

  6. Vegetables
  7. Roti and rice
  8. Water and Juices
  9. Iron-Fortified Cereals
  10. Commercial Baby Milk Powder

Sometime (actually quite often) babies may turn their noses up at new foods so it is important to remember it can take an average of six to ten tries before a baby likes an unfamiliar bitter or sour food.
